San Diego-WISH is a peace-building organization rooted in education, intercultural friendship, and community connection. Founded by local leaders passionate about global understanding, SD-WISH serves as a bridge between generations, cultures, and nations—helping people discover the shared humanity that unites us all.
Our work is inspired by one of the most powerful examples of reconciliation in modern history: the healing and friendship between the United States and Japan following the devastation of WWII. From that legacy, we carry forward a message of hope, empathy, and responsibility to future generations.
Today, SD-WISH partners with schools, communities, and international organizations to foster understanding, support dialogue, and cultivate the skills needed to build a more peaceful world.
