Adam Khan (age 9) from London, United Kingdom, is an American, British, and Australian citizen with Indian and Pakistani heritage. As an incoming 5th grader at the King’s College Junior School in Wimbledon, he received the highest honor for his WWII history project and continued on to published a book containing interviews with WWII veterans and survivors. San Diego-WISH is pleased to announce our first Peace & Humanity Day Art Contest. Following the guidelines below, artists may submit their peace symbol artwork. One winning symbol will be used as our symbol of peace for our 2015 events. The winning artist will receive an award at our events in August 2014. Planning for Peace & Humanity Day 2013 is already underway! An official announcement will be made once we have confirmed the dates and details but our events will take place with a similar schedule and the same venues as 2012. Look for P&H Day in August 2013 in San Diego, CA.
